For each of the two cottages there is a hard surface where you can park the car and which connects to ramped access for each of the cottages.
For The Old Dairy this is to the front door, for Curlew Cottage this is to the sliding patio doors as the front door is accessed by steps. The patio areas are of concrete, other areas around the cottage are gravelled
Bedrooms: The Old Dairy has one ground-floor bedroom (with twin beds) and Curlew Cottage has two ground-floor bedrooms (one double, one twin). There is space in each bedroom for a wheelchair to access one side of the bed.
Bathrooms: Both cottages have ground-floor bathrooms with enhanced access and sufficient space for wheelchair turnaround. Each ground-floor bathroom has a bath. The Old Dairy has an over-bath shower, Curlew Cottage has a separate shower which is step into. Non-slip bathmats are available.
Flooring: The flooring surface of the ground floors of both cottages is hard, with slate in some areas and timber in others. The circulation space throughout the ground floor of Curlew Cottage is particularly good, The Old Dairy is a smaller property but the main kitchen/dining/sitting is open plan.
