For guests arriving in electric (BEV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles we offer complimentary charging for holiday cottage guests via 3 EV charge points:

• Type 2 socket (7kW, 1-ph) - on Curlew Cottage
• Type 2 tethered (22kW, 3-ph) - on the hangar
• Type 2 tethered (22kW, 3-ph) - on the old barn

An increasing number of local destinations and visitor attractions are served with AC (Type 2) fast charge and DC (CHAdeMO/CCS) rapid charge connectors (Chargeplace Scotland card recommended for access although mobile connections also possible; downloading their app is also likely to be helpful).

There are plenty of great driving route options to explore central Scotland and we shall be pleased to suggest ideas for road trips exploring the fabulous countryside.
